The yarn and Pattern will be at The Little Knittery in Atwater Village, Calf. by the end of December just in time for the New Year!

FANDANGO SHAWL

I wanted to Design a Shawl using different texture and color yarns, was lacy looking and that you fringed as you knit.  This is what I came up with.  I was a fun, interesting knit for me and I hope for anyone who knits it.

PONCHO GRANDE

I love to wear a Poncho and it comes in handy when I go on those early morning walks with my dog Jesse.  I just put it on and we’re out the door. This poncho is meant to be oversized with a Garter Stitch edge all around and a sweet eyelet stitch pattern in a contrasting color accompanied by the stockinette stitch for the body that gives it that little something special. This is an easy and pleasant knit ending with a garment you will wear for a lifetime.

New Shawl Design on the needles

I'm enjoying this project.  I have tried two other times to knit this Design and I have not been happy.  The concept is to start with a two color repeat pattern that begins with two knit rows and with every two color repeat increase the rows by two.  The other shawl were rectangles and the results were too subtle.  I think this is the one!

SUMMER LOVIN' TOP/PONCHO

It's all about Stripes!!!  The pattern is on RAVELRY

I’m totally into stripes at the moment.  They are so cheerful and I find them hard to resist. That being said I think this would look great as a solid top as well.  This top/poncho is knit in two pieces bottom up but sewn together so you wear it side to side.  It’s easy to knit and, has a wonderful drape and looks great on all body types.

SIZE: Small 32-34”, Medium 35-37”, and Large 38-40”, XL 41-44” Bust
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 24.5 (27.5, 30.5, 33.5)” wide 49 (55, 61, 67)” round x 19 (20, 21, 22 ) long.

Summer Knitting

Summer is on the way here in Southern California and I was in the mood to design another Tee Top. This is a shape I have done before and it’s quite popular with the customers at The Little Knittery in Atwater Village, where I work. It’s an easy project yet the stripe stitch pattern gives it a little something special. It is Tech Edited and has a Schematic.!

SIZE: XS (S, M, L, XL)
TO FIT BUST: X Small 28-30” (Small, 32-34”; Medium, 36-38”; Large 40-42”; XL 44-46”
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 16 (18, 20, 22, 24)” wide at bust, 19.5 (20, 20.5, 21, 21.5)” long

YARN: Berroco Modern Cotton; 60% Prima Cotton, 40% Modal Rayon. 209 yds, 191m, 3.5 oz, 100g. 3 (3, 3, 3, 4) balls of color 1601 Sandy Point (A), 1 ball of color 1603 Piper (B)

You can buy the pattern on  Ravelry

Lousia Top #2

I originally knit this design using a yarn that unfortunately has been discontinued.
Kat Coyle, who owns The Little Knittery in Atwater Village, CA, asked me to design a version using Juniper Moon Farm’s Zooey Aran yarn. I made the stripes wider starting with the dark color stripe and ending with the light color stripe, so each sleeve edge is a different color stripe. It’s knit side-to-side which give this top a wonderful drape.

This Pattern is listed on Ravelrycrafsty

One of the three Designs I am working on at the moment.  A shawl using Malabrigo Rios Super Wash.  I did a Baby blanket a years ago with Rios and I Loved knitting with this Beautiful Yarn.  Making Progress actually I'm in the home stretch.
