Contempo Baby Blanket Finished

This Baby Blanket is a Quick & Easy Small baby blanket and is perfect for gift knitting.
I used a new 100% cotton yarn by Berroco-Prima Cotton 100 and I totally enjoyed knitting with the yarn. It takes 3 hanks and 3 colors to get a 22" X 23 1/2" blanket.
You can find the sample and the yarn at The Little Knittery in Atwater Village, Ca
Pattern available on RAVELRY

First Design of 2017

I figured I would start with a Baby Blanket Design since my blanket Designs are my Best Sellers. I am using a New Yarn from Berroco Prima 100 Cotton and I Love it!  My color inspirations is the Shibori dying technique.
This Yarn can be purchased at The Little Knittery in Atwater Village, Ca and you will find me working there every Saturday & Sunday.  Please come by and say Hello.

welcome 2017

Well 2016 was a rough year! But hope reigns eternal is something I always say to myself.
I have been working 6 days a week at The Little Knittery in Atwater Village, Ca 6 starting the first week in December and now with  Pussy Hat Project which was originated at the shop my original schedule has remained the same and the closer we get to The Woman's March on Washington the more knitters come in to buy pink yarn to knit hats and the more donated hats come in.
I have only had time to knit 5 hats but I am happy I could knit those! I used Marabrigo Rios and stock to the original Design.

A small shawl this time.  I'm doing the standard shape and keeping it small. Using a combination of Debbie Bliss Rialto Luxury Sock and Jagger Spun Heather-YUM!
The yarn and Pattern will be at The Little Knittery in Atwater Village, Calf. by the end of December just in time for the New Year!

I think we can use a bit of Joy and my Jesse does just that for me.

I wanted to Design a Shawl using different texture and color yarns, was lacy looking and that you fringed as you knit.  This is what I came up with.  I was a fun, interesting knit for me and I hope for anyone who knits it.
