Loopy Mango Baby Blanket Design on the needles

I started to knit my Latest Design --- A baby blanket using Loopy Mango!!! This is the best selling yarn at The Little Knittery where I work several day a week but this is the first time I've knitted with it and I don' know what took me so long! I love this yarn and it is such a pleasant and Fast knit.. Contempo Baby Blanket Finished

This Baby Blanket is a Quick & Easy Small baby blanket and is perfect for gift knitting.
I used a new 100% cotton yarn by Berroco-Prima Cotton 100 and I totally enjoyed knitting with the yarn. It takes 3 hanks and 3 colors to get a 22" X 23 1/2" blanket.

First Design of 2017

I figured I would start with a Baby Blanket Design since my blanket Designs are my Best Sellers. I am using a New Yarn from Berroco Prima 100 Cotton and I Love it!  My color inspirations is the Shibori dying technique.

EZY LOG CABIN BABY BLANKET #3

This is the third version of this Design.  I first knit it using Berroco Modern Cotton.  I than knit it using Malabrigo Rios and this time I used Blue Sky Alpaca Worsted Cotton.  My inspiration was the Pennsylvania Dutch Amish Quilts.  I love their bold geometric patterns and dynamic color combinations.  This blanket starts with a center panel that has three colors worked in a stripe pattern. You than pick up stitches for each side panel and work in a stripe pattern. This is an easy and fun project with Bold results.

EARTH LAP BLANKET

 I was inspired by the trend for Natural dyes and colors when I Designed this Lap Blanket. I wanted to use two Earth tone colors and this is what I came up with.  It is very basic since I used The Wonderful Garter Stitch but I added a little detail when you change colors just to spice it up.  That being said I have a friend who is knitting it and she chose Bright colors and it looks great.
